Day 1 (Again)

 This is probably the 5th time I have made a run at this. Though only this and the time before, I really put forth some real effort. I somehow had it in my mind that since I play a lot of video games anyway, if I just streamed them, money would come. I know silly huh!?!? This time around I plan on doing it differently and seeing it through until I hit my goal(s).

Day one got off to a rough start as I didn't really do anything until late this evening, around 8pm EST. I have been doing some pre work like, creating clips from some of the archived footage I have and cleaning up my social media profiles for uniformity. A few months back on the previous attempt, I signed up for Twatters Patreon but never took advantage of the knowledge and tools provided. This is the foundation of this run. I went through all the knowledge, planned a few moves, learned how to navigate the discord server provided, and put a lot of the tips in motion.

I ordered a new capture card and will be getting a new mic in the next week or so. I'm working on making my space more vibrant and digestible. I'm also working on sharpening my ideas so they're not so broad. Today my goal was to post a clip on each of my social media outlets (TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and Youtube). I got that done but hit a snag. In my edits I use a segment to end all my clips. It has all my links/tags for the sites that I'm on and it's shown over some music. The music used in the clip gets my TikTok video muted due to copyrights but I OWN THE MUSIC! I tried to contact tiktok support and it gave me an error. I sent them a message on Twitter and I'm waiting for a reply.

Outside of that snag, it has been an okay day 1. The plan for the rest of the week is to continue to follow the plan set. Post content everyday and I stream on Thursdays from 8pm to 12am EST.

I'm hoping this blog can help me see some mistakes or just vent the bad, when it comes. Maybe even help someone on a similar journey.

Day 11 and 2nd Stream

I stayed up real late last night watching TV and got about 4 hrs of sleep before my day started at 830am. On top of that, we had a meeting today that threw my whole schedule off so nothing was routine at work today. Day 12

 I posted my daily content pretty early today and broke that dreaded below 700 TikTok view curse lol. I also did some cross promo as the day went on. I was introduced to a pretty nice concept through my discord group. It was to have goals for the game/activity while streaming. Like getting x amount of kills or farming for a particular part. On the long term side of things, chasing a platinum trophy or chasing an epic piece of gear. I like it and will be thinking of ways to incorporate it into my setup. I have no plans for the weekend outside of the house so I will try to spend some time getting a better setup in my room for streaming. I bought a neon sign that will be here on Sunday. It says "But did you die?" Its pretty cool because it is a saying that I have used a bit personally, especially when I drive. Day 8

 It has been a slow day production wise on this front. It is Labor Day and I had to work. I spent a good portion of the day planning and plotting future moves. I just posted my daily content and I hit the most likes on TikTok so far at 36! I still can't seem to break 700 though. I think next week I will start using different tags to see if the results change. I have almost completed my monthly goals list and it should be posted by tomorrow. I am also getting closer and closer to putting my pride and arrogance aside to get things done properly. I have to get better at communicating and participating with the streamers around me. I got about 16 videos already chopped but I need to get on some of the more current content. I have been using different content daily. Switching between Overwatch, Call of Duty, and Fortnite.
